Welcome to Handcrafting With Love, the personal blog of SusanBLuvsCrafts. I live in the metropolitan Kansas City, Missouri area. When I'm not on the computer or my tablet, I love making things with fabric or yarn.

I quilt, crochet and knit. Sometimes I sew and do counted cross-stitch among other things. I created my first original designs in 1997. Many things I make are donated to charity (Project Linus is my favorite), with most of the rest given to friends and relatives. Whether donated, given as a gift or kept for yourself, love is an essential ingredient in all handcrafted things.

For many years, even before this blog, I had a website to share my free patterns and other information. In March, 2010, I purchased (rented ??) the handcraftingwithlove.net domain name and web hosting and moved the website to its' own domain. All was great for while, then I neglected the website for many years. In 2024, I decided to shut the website down and move my patterns and the charity information to this blog.
