crocheted back washer

by SusanBLuvsCrafts

This back washer was designed as part of a bath themed gift for a friend. The other items were made from patterns I had or found on the web.

Materials needed:

  • 2 oz. (56.7 g) Cotton worsted weight yarn (thanks to Vicky in VA for the amount of yarn needed)
  • Crochet hook size G

Gauge:

In pattern stitch, 14 stitches = approximately 3 7/8 inches and 23 rows = 8 inches.

Special Stitch:

dc dec (double crochet decrease): Yo, insert hook in stitch specified, yo and pull loop through stitch, yo and pull loop through first 2 loops on hook. (2 loops remain on hook.) Yo, insert hook in next stitch, yo and pull loop through stitch, yo and pull loop through first 2 loops on hook. Yo and pull loop through remaining 3 loops on hook.

Instructions:
