Last Sunday at our Project Linus group, I adopted these howling wolves. Christy made a quilt with one wolf panel a year ago. (Scroll to the second picture in Excuses, Excuses.) She never used the second panel and coordinating border strips and donated them to our Project Linus group as she prepared to move to New York.
Yesterday, I stitched the panel and border strips together with the same creamy yellow I used for the background on the one-seam flying geese. The wolf panel finished to 16" square and the border strips are 4" wide. The top with this first border measures about 21" by 30½". Now to find some fabric to go with this and figure out how to finish it.
